It automatically shuts off when there's no activity and turns on when you begin walking or jogging. It features a contemporary, European design with flipcover to protect the buttons during activity. It measures up to 1,000 miles/kilometers in 1/100 (0.01) increments and can easily change the display between miles and kilometers. In addition to distance traveled and steps taken, the 355 also displays the calories you burn. Other features include a large double-line display and time-of-day clock with selectable 12- or 24-hour format. It's powered by a replaceable LR44 battery.
