I am a walker, and a part of a Walking Club. We try to do 5,000 to 10,000 steps a day.

Unfortunately, MOST INEXPENSIVE PEDOMETERS ARE NOT ACCURATE, including the cheap ones from Sportline; that you see in most stores for or under .

My friends and I in my club received the 345 pedometer from our Senior Center. It is truly the best. It is accurate!!!

As we are walkers, and very often walk to same places, we know how many steps are involved. This pedometer keeps accurate counts.

Also, this #345 pedometer on the SPORTLINE site is .95, plus tax and shipping. Amazon sells this for about plus tax, with NO shipping.

As a bonus, this pedometer counts calories, miles and has a clock. Also, when you flip it up, the numbers reverse so you can read it without taking it off.

I had to replace my original one, because I was afraid it would fall on the floor in a public bathroom. So... I laid it on the toliet paper dispenser, and left it there. Hopefully, the person who found it likes it as much as I did.

I just got this pedometer and I like it. It was very easy to set up, and not too sensitive. I have tested it by walking and actually counting my steps. The first couple of times it was within 20 steps. Now that it has adjusted to my body, it is within 2 steps. Amazing! I would highly recommend this pedometer to anyone who wants to accurately track their steps!

I love this watch! It took me awhile to figure out because I didn't read the instructions at first but once i did this watch became simple to use. The only con is if I swing my arm around sometimes it will register as a step but then again if I wear a waist pedometer and jiggle to much it counts steps as well. This watch isn't much more than a regular watch and I like the fact that it keeps track of the distance I walk and calories burned based on my weight and movement.
